About Conisbrough Community Association Ltd

Conisbrough Community Association (CCA) was founded in July 1976 as a registered charity and a non-profit making organisation. (RC No. 1047400)

The main objective of the CCA was to benefit the inhabitants of Conisbrough and Denaby, by working together with national, regional and local authorities.

This effort was to be in conjunction with other organisations and voluntary groups to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation.

All this was with a view to improving the conditions of life for all the inhabitants of the local community.

During the following 21 years the CCA were actively involved in providing a purpose built community resource centre which became The Ivanhoe Centre, and took on the responsibility of managing trustees.

In 2004 the CCA became a limited company (CCAL) in order to further expand resource facilities within the Association and aid the management of the Ivanhoe Centre.
